I am a Scientist at Yahoo! Audience Sciences Lab now. I obtained my Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I worked in Text Information Management Group and Data and Information System Group. My Ph.D. advisor is Professor ChengXiang Zhai. I was supported by a Yahoo! Ph.D. Fellowship in 2008-2009.
 
Research Interests
I have broad interests in information retrieval, data mining, and machine learning. My Ph.D. research focus is to improve Web search for difficult queries and help users find "hard-to-find" information. I am also interested in mining patterns from large scale search logs and streaming data and machine learning algorithms.
